DUNLOP. Jan, of Great Shelford, died peacefully at home, Friday, February 27th, 2009. Devoted wife to Neil, loving mother to Frances, Stuart and Adrian and caring grandmother to Alex, Mabel, Poppy and Sebastian, loving sister to John. Exceptional homemaker, inspiring teacher, talented painter, respected choral soprano, untiring thoughtful volunteer for good causes in our community, Jan's goodness and generosity of spirit is irreplaceable in the hearts of her loving family and the many people who knew her and loved her. Funeral at Emmanuel United Reformed Church, Trumpington Street, Cambridge, at 11.00am, on Monday, March 16th, followed by a private family committal. Jan loved colour so please wear something appropriate but colourful. Jan's birthday party, a celebration of Jan's life, will be held on the afternoon of Saturday, May 2nd. Family flowers only please, if desired, donations payable to NSPCC or Macmillan Cancer Support can be made via R Skeates Funeral Directors, 45 Moorfield Road, Duxford, Cambs. CB22 4PP. For the charities to be able to claim Gift Aid please will taxpayers enclose their donations in an envelope with the words 'I am a taxpayer and would like Macmillan Cancer Support/ NSPCC to treat the enclosed donation of ?** as a Gift Aid donation'. Please then write your name, address and the date and sign it.
